I have never liked burnt black pudding. Buffalo black pudding is the tastiest on earth so far. I steamed it or add it to vegetables and cover with a lid for a few minutes.
It freezes well.
In Spain black pudding has pine kernels and currants added, very tasty!
I do not miss it anymore, got buffalo now.

Our whole family thought this was the best black pudding we have ever tasted! Unanimous in our review! The polar opposite of the rubbish you get in the supermarkets. We used to like another black pudding you see in all good farm shops but this one beats that one hands down! There is a sweetness, date like, which works so well with all the other spices. Spot on! Highly recommend you try!

Cut in to slices approximately 1.5cm slice
pre heat oven to 180c cook for 5-8 minutes
Turning halfway through
Grill on a medium heat cook for 5-8 minutes turning halfway through.
Pan fry on a medium heat add a small amount of oil and fry for 5- 8minutes turning half way through
Ingredients: Beef Suet, Water, Medium Oatmeal, Pinhead Oatmeal, Beef, Dried Onion, HEMOGLOBIN Powder, Salt, Rice Flour, Spices (Pimento, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, Clove), Rusk [WHEAT Flour (WHEAT Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Salt, Raising Agent (Ammonium carbonates (E503))] , Flavourings, Smoked Back Bacon, Tomatoes, Malt Vinegar (from BARLEY), Molasses, Glucose, Fructose Syrup, Spirit Vinegar, Sugar, Dates, Modified Cornflour, RYE Flour, Salt, Spices, Flavourings, Tamarind, Black Pepper.
